Clue #1: Opah Fish

We are just one kick butt team. Our team may be 1/8 the size of any team in our school but we still get the job done. Just imagine what we could do with numbers like the other teams!
We kicked off this season in full swing! On October 20, 2008 at the Deer Park Scrimmage our team went in to combat with the first seed and came home with the first place title! The US First Kick Off was in Stony Brook on January 3, 2009 at 10am when we picked up our 'kit of parts,' game details, field place, rules and regulations.
Without our mentors and corporate sponsors we would not be as tough as we are. Special thanks to Pete, Sully, Joe, Al, Mike, Rich, and Kavand especially all of The Moms who helped through the year. Thank you for your support and behind the scene activity that made all the trips possible.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), was founded by Dean Kamen, an nationally recognized engineer. This organization was founded in order to make science and engineering as enjoyable and popular as many modern day sports are today. In FIRST Robotics, a team comprised of high school students must design, build, test, and operate a robot in six weeks time based on a task given by FIRST. As of this year (2005-6), over 64,000 students are enrolled in FIRST. This number is rapidly growing. The competitions our team competes in are run by FIRST.
